Why we are building

Many everyday journeys happen along the same roads while seats remain empty.
UpDown is designed to give riders and drivers simple tools to search, publish, request, review, communicate, and keep journeys organised. The aim is not to imitate a taxi fleet. It is to support people who are already travelling in the same direction.
The product currently uses Madhya Pradesh-focused language and examples. Any broader coverage claim will be added only after the actual service area is confirmed.
Useful technology should make coordination clearer without pretending that community travel is risk-free.
